Meet Our Team Members

Meet the team members of Jeff MacTaggart Masonry LLC.

Jeff MacTaggart – Founder and President

Jeff has more than 30 years of masonry industry experience. His lengthy resume’ consists of a variety of responsibilities that include estimating, procurement, scheduling, design assistance, operations, and management.

 

Jeff has participated in the construction of more than 2,000 projects in the commercial, institutional, industrial, and government arenas. He enjoys facilitating the construction process through preparedness, imagination, and execution. With a vision to deliver exceptional value to his clients, Jeff has assembled a team of talented individuals who are establishing JM2 as an industry leader.

Justin Cornish – Regional Superintendent - Nebraska

Justin's experience is an accumulation of nearly 25 years of hands-on construction or direct supervision of hundreds of masonry projects in a multitude of project categories.

 

A second-generation bricklayer, he began as a laborer and progressed through the roles of operator, bricklayer, job superintendent. At JM2, Justin's primary responsibilities include oversight for multiple projects, and managing the logistics of manpower and equipment. He also provides support, and is responsible for safety, quality, training and recruitment within our field operations.

John Gilmore – Chief Estimator/Retired

John holds a BS in Construction Management and a Master's in Business Administration. John’s work experience includes 10 years with a national concrete contractor and 12 years general contracting. 

 

He began his masonry career in 2001 and his masonry industry experience includes estimating, project management, procurement, regional market growth, and management. His breadth and depth of experience on a variety of projects places him in a unique position to understand the construction process from design through completion.

Nate Anderson – Safety Manager/Project Manager

As safety trainer, Nate is responsible for assessing field operations to identify potential hazards and provide the necessary support and corrective action to eliminate such hazards. This is done through hands-on training, work process modifications, and equipment research. 


Nate works with field employees on a daily basis to reduce the risk of workplace injuries. He also maintains all company safety records and keeps current with federal, state, and local safety laws that affect the construction and industrial trades. Nate frequently conducts employee orientations and classroom instruction regarding safety topics and equipment.

 

Nate’s background includes over 25 years in the masonry trade as laborer and operator, bricklayer and job superintendent along with involvement in safety committees during those years.
